MEDITERRANEAN STUDIES ASSOCIATION

NEWSLETTER, #4 (May 2008)

Dear Colleagues,

This will be our last communication before we gather in beautiful Lüneburg, Germany, and I have several matters of information to share with you.

1. FINAL PROGRAM.

Rick Clement has completed the final Congress Program which you can find on the MSA Website at www.mediterraneanstudies.org.

2. AIRPORT VAN SCHEDULE.

Below is the FINAL schedule for the Hamburg Airport van. Louise Boudreau has scheduled transportation requests on a first come basis. All vans are full except for the 6:45 PM van on Tuesday, May 27; 1 space is available. Please honor that schedule since the drivers are being instructed to only pick up individuals on their list. We have room for four more people on the return to Hamburg Airport on Sunday Morning June 1 at 6:00 AM

Please note that the drivers are students. While the MSA is paying them a modest stipend to drive the vans, it would be most appropriate to tip the drivers for their efforts. I would suggest 2-4 Euros per person for the trips to and from the airport. This, however, is only a suggestion.
