NEWSLETTER JANUARY 2018

Dear MSA Colleagues, Happy New Years and best wishes for a healthy, safe, and productive 2018. As we roll into 2018 the 21st Annual MSA Congress at the SantAnna Institute is only four months away, and we have important information to share with you.

1.   PROPOSAL SUBMISSION

We ask you to please get your proposals for individual papers or panels to the Program Committee as soon as possible. This is a very busy time for the Committee as they organize papers into sessions, and organize the daily schedules. You can greatly help to facilitate their labor by submitting your proposals as soon as possible.

2.   EARLY REGISTRATION

An important reminder that on February 1, Early Registration ends and the Regular Congress Registration goes into effect.

3.   2020 CONGRESS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF GIBRALTAR

I am very happy to inform you that the MSA has received an invitation from the University of Gibraltar to host the 2020 MSA Congress, May 27  30, 2020. We thank the University of Gibraltar for this kind invitation and look forward to their hosting the 2020 Congress.

4.   2018 CONGRESS POST TOUR JUNE 3  7

We also call to your attention, a small number of openings remain available for the 2018 MSA Post Tour. Please do not wait and be disappointed as was the case last year when we had to turn away a number of requests. For complete details of the itinerary please visit the MSA website www.mediterraneanstudies.org

Best wishes and looking forward to seeing you in beautiful Sorrento in May.
