Transportation from the airport to Valletta: bus drop-off on edge of old town; walking distance to most hotels.
Express bus service to and from the airport X1, X2, X3, X4 has additional place for luggage, also is air conditioned and is approximately a 15-minute ride; cost very inexpensive.

5:00pm - Registration desk open, receive name badges, programs and folders
6:00pm - Opening ceremony in Alla Magna located on the 1st floor of the University Conference Center. For more information visit http://www.um.edu.mt/conferenceunit/venue
Immediately following the opening session will be a reception hosted by the University of Malta

Registration Desk open: 8:30am to 1:15pm & 2:30pm to 5pm
9:00am - 11:00am (6) concurrent sessions
11:00am - 11:15am Coffee Break
11:15am - 1:15pm (6) concurrent sessions
1:15pm - 2:30pm Lunch on your own
2:30pm - 4:30pm (6) concurrent sessions (Saturday no 2:30pm sessions unless needed)
Saturday: June 3, 2017
7:30pm - 9:00pm Closing Reception at the Grand Excelsior Hotel hosted by Mediterranean Studies Association
Sunday: June 4, 2017: Post Educational Post Tour (MUST be pre-registered and is now FULL)
9:00am pickup at the Grand Excelsior Hotel (tour begins at Grand Excelsior Hotel and also ends at Grand Excelsior Hotel)
Wednesday June 7, 2017: Holiday in Malta so some venues might be closed
