Call for presentations for panel sessions,
Artists, Art Historians, and Art Educators
Now calling for paper and or session presentations that focus on the study of art in the Mediterranean and surrounding countries. Accepted proposals will be placed on a panel to be presented in 20-minute segments. Topics and subjects may include research focused on art historical perspectives, artistic and creative works addressing problems of social justice, art works created by an artist’s sense of place, and approaches to art educational methods and issues all concerning or highlighting the Mediterranean and surrounding countries. Presentations may be in person or virtual. The official language of the Congress is English, but we also welcome complete panel sessions in any Mediterranean language.

About the MSA:
The Mediterranean Studies Association is an interdisciplinary organization which promotes the scholarly study of the Mediterranean region in all aspects and disciplines. It is particularly concerned with the ideas and ideals ofMediterranean cultures from antiquity to the present and their influence beyond these geographical and temporal boundaries.The Association was incorporated in 1994 after several years of informal existence and is a publicly-supported organization exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
