is the largest cathedral in Portugal. 
Building commenced in 1186, consecrated in 1204, completed 1250

Roman temple, incorrectly dedicated to Diana, the goddess of hunting. The temple is regarded as one of the best preserved Roman structure on the Iberian Peninsula, having been miraculously preserved by being incorporated into multiple buildings since the end of the Roman Empire. Built in Corinthian style in the early 1st century AD, it is located in the historical center of town.
