Day 4 - Tuesday, June 4 - Madrid Museums

Depending on how you plan to divide up your time in Madrid, Tuesday would be an excellent time to visit some of the world class museums that Madrid has to offer, starting with the Del Prado. Our hotel, the Mercure Central is in the heart of the Museum area, only a half mile from the "Golden Triangle of Art." That includes the Del Prado, Thyssen-Bornemisza and the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía that specializes in 20th-century Spanish art. There is also the National Archaeological Museum, Museum of Romanticism, and Museo Cerralbo.
